Sneak peak into the journey so far
What was your career path? How did you get from being an aspiring photographer to actually doing it full time, for a living?
I have been interested in creativity, something new and out of the box. In 2nd year architecture degree, I got a small camera for my sites and assignments to take pictures and I didn’t know that those would come out so well. Exploring YouTube learning skills, reading blogs developed my skills more. After completing architecture degree, I worked for a company but then decided to take a break and joined a diploma course in photography to gain more knowledge. Later I assisted different wedding and fashion photographers, started taking my own projects and capturing every moment with my own creativity and style.
What sets you apart from other wedding photographers?
All photographers are different and they have their own style of shooting but when it comes to wedding photography capturing each and every moment at the golden second is important. No vidhis, no moments are repeated again so capturing all details every moment with a creative style is what I am best at.
What or who got you started in photography?
My family and close friends who always used to support me and appreciate my work gave me more confidence.
What gives you ideas and inspires you to create such great imagery?
Majorly for me inspiration comes from nature, beauty, travel, some inspiring photographers. Even sometimes when I look at my work, it gives me some new ideas and inspires me more. "Always Love your work".
Where would be your dream destination assignment?
For me every single project is my dream assignment, and I can travel anywhere for shoots, whether in India or outside India.
What do you think of the wedding photography industry at the moment and where do you see it in 5 years from now?
Wedding photography is in demand right now with increasing technologies . It will always be alive and more fun in next 5 years . Photographers have to be more and more creative to compete with other photographers in the market with their own style .
What do you find most exciting about shooting a wedding?
For me shooting a wedding is giving someone the best memories for lifetime which they will cherish all over their life , as after marriage the memories are in form of just photos and videos.
Shooting weddings is fun and full of excitment as everytime we get to see something new and every weddings are different so we get chance to explore and capture it all in new style .
